Seventh grade!

August 18, 2006

Today was oreintation for all the seventh graders. It was cool cause we finnaly got our schedules! I had been anticipating finding out what my classes are! I am pretty excited for junior high but at the same time I have been dredding the first day of school since I am so nervous!

On “a” days I have PE, English, and Life Science. My teachers are Grag, Kneeland, and West.

On “b” days I have Pre-Algebra, World History and Art. And my teachers are Forni, Murphy and Ostendorf.

I know nothing about my teachers, or which ones are mr’s and mrs’s! I am not looking forward to PE because my brother explained him just like how I would explain Coach Vic from McNear. But other than that I like my schedule.

I will have a bigger room and a bigger closet! I will also not have to share a batheroom all the time with my brother! We will also have a future pool!

A Recap on Pillsbury!

July 30, 2006

Pillsbury was great! At the most in our group we had 30 people! This year we had great hot weather, we were in the water a whole lot. I went skiing, tubing and wake boarding….we also went to the rope swing a few times. Our parents wouldn’t let us jump off spilt rock because the water level was lower than before. Jessica and Jasmine had a knew cute puppy. He was three month old jack russel named ty (they didn’t decide how to spell his name yet so it could be tie, ty, ti, tye) I like it spelt like ty though cause that is how ty pennington spells his name….

Nevada

July 12, 2006

Well I am going to go to Las Vegas in Agust and my parents asked me and my brother to find some stuff that we can do while we are there. Which of course means I am going to have to do all of the research. So I was wondering if anyone who has been there has places which are a must see or go. All we know that we are going to be doing is going on the drop tower thing and we’re going to see a show.

Pillsbury

July 9, 2006

Next Saturday I am leaving for Pillsbury one of my favorite spots in the world. It is a lake filled with water and it is where I learned many things. Mostly stuff on the water. I learned how to swim and got my practice from going to and from the logs. I learned how to balance from walking across them trying to see how far from the dock I can go with out slipping and falling into the water. I learned how to dive, water ski, wakeboard, kneeboard and how to drive a boat. How to make a perfect golden brown marshmellow and how many marshmellows is to much…

I have been going here since I was three. Many things have changed but one thing that hasn’t is the old dirt logging road which is the worst road I have ever ridden on and probably the most scary but I will never forget the view out of the window looking down at the valley of trees with a single river going through it. It is so beautiful! From this road it takes about a hour to get to the lake. Each year we also go to the same camp ground. number twelve the closest one to the store and right across from the playground. The best view of the lake is on the benches on the edge of a cliff looking across the water and to the other side. At dusk I go over there and I watch the sun set. In the mornings if I wake up super early I grab my book and I go watch the sun rise and sometimes I can see my dads boat out on the other side of the lake where he catches fish. I don’t like to fish that much cause it is too boring I have very little patience for fish…

I love this place and you might to if you ever go there, unless you are to high matenence and hate dirt and long car rides and um…..camping and the wild and nature then you might hate it.
